As a young, energetic, and curious child, he has always wanted to become a pirate and explore the vast regions of the world itself. Even as an infant, he would always tried to wander off into another location in his house. Luckily, his mother was always their to catch, before he crawled too far a distance. Still, it was highly doubtful he would go to far, but he had great determination and much vigor to carry him forth to where he desire, even though he was less than a year old at the time. His mother had always found those traits adorable while present within him. When he became older to understand what people were saying, she told him he was a lot like his father. He was ever-so curious about his surrounding, wanting to search for new discoveries, identical to his own intentions. He was practically the spitting-image of him. Still, he also shared some of his mother's traits. Though, he cannot see which, but it will come to him in time.

Sand by itself was not destructive unlike other elements such as fire and lightning. Just touching these two is harmful to oneself. However, every element has the power to become a destructive force of nature. This is the case with Logias, who possess the power to create natural disaster with whatever ability they have at their disposal. However, this great gift to whomever discover it is not to be taken lightly or misused. If he were to carelessly use his power without any concern for others, he could severely injure a bystander. The beach served as a perfect place to avoid any excessive collateral damage. The sand within his palm began to swirl in a spiral manner, building up momentum as it does so. Normally, the previous intensity would be enough, but he wants to see just how far he is able to exert the condition of his physique at this point. The performance of this technique was simple, he was basically going to release his sand in the form of a spiraling storm, generating great force. However, with the apparent intensity of the sedimentary material spinning with his hand, it was certainly going to be powerful.
"Here we go, Senkai Kousa!" He exclaimed as he thrusted his right hand forward. His palm remained wide-open as it released a large swirling mass of sand in his wake. It is describe as more of a sandstorm in a smaller form compared to an actual one in nature. It looked to have burst forth from his hand as it flew across the waters of the sea that surrounded his home land. The speed of the particles is immense, enabling it carry off multiple foes at once. For the boy, being made of sand had it's benefits. Heat doesn't affect him as much as other humans, since his power gave his body a higher resistance to it. His ability grants him basically an immunity to heat, making fire-based attacks less effective against him. However, he is still learning much about the true extent and potential of his powers. This includes his intangibility as there are noticeable weak-points to inflict physical damage onto him. Though, this has hardly ever been a problem to him. When he was younger to the point of recently acquiring his powers, he had discovered a unique weakness to them. His body is vulnerable to water-based techniques. He can even become elementally intangible to dodged them, rather defend against them. It is both a logical and clever attempt when fighting a Logia such as him. Desptie this, he still retains his other abilities such as manipulating sand. When he was finished with releasing the his swirling sandstorm from his right hand, he pulled it back to his side and put both of his hands in the pockets of his favorite hoodie. He wanted to make sure he was rusty from using his powers, so he came here to practice his aim and thrust. When someone is temporarily unable to utilize their skills such as a Devil Fruit User, this usually leaves one vulnerable for an attack, which is shown through an opening they had left. Thankfully, that is not the case with Malik as he does not appear to be out-of-practice in any way possible. He turned on his feet and started to traverse in a different direction. Specifically, it is a pathway, which leads back to his home. He wanted to be there in time for dinner. He does wonder what his mother is cooking on such a day.
